Mountain Accessories
Mountain treks by their very nature are a long way from urban areas. There is no popping out to the shops if you have forgotten anything! Consider the following:
A whistle - in fog and mist its easy to go astray - a whistle sound carries a long way and is easy to follow for your rescuers.
Money belt - even in this environment you need to take care of your money and passport. Choose one with a plastic insert to keep the damp out.
Binoculars - there is a lot to see when your eyesight adjusts. Waterproof and fogproof the Barska Naturescape Bins will do a good job for you.

Knife or multitool - Equipment repairs, food preparation, camp preparation to name but a few of the uses you will need a knife or multitool for. If choosing a knife, choose one with a blade lock such as the Victorinox Outrider . The Leatherman Charge multitool does pretty much any job.
Games - a pack of playing cards goes a long way and takes up no space. Consider the Bandana gameboard which doubles up as a chess/draughts board and a sweat rag
