The Alti Arc X8 Hardened Mineral Lenses offer excellent quality optics, scratch resistance and extra infrared protection. The lenses are Cat. 4, transmitting 3-8% of visible light, meaning they are suitable for bright light activities including water sports and mountaineering. A hard case and neck cord (so you don't lose them) are also included.

What about the all important lens, you ask? Its the Alti Arc, mineral glasswhich is classed as a category 4 glass lens with anti-reflective flash finish.... mmmm, ok, but what does that actually mean? Well it's got the following features:

Anti-reflective coating: improves visual comfort by eliminating stray reflections. 

Burnished finish: enhances visible light filtering. Ideal for use in desert or high mountain. Optimum protection against visible light.

Flash finish: improves visible light filtering with mirror effect lenses. It reflects rays of light and increases the filter effect. It eliminates the radiation reflected by the outer mirrored surface of the lens.
