The Travelproof Variant 3 is quite a versatile sleeping unit for travel. It's a sleeping bag, a rug/blanket and insulated poncho all in one. With a comfort rating suited to warmer climates, the Variant III Sleeping Bag packs down compact in its own compression sack that comes included.
The Variant 3 is made with Ripstop Fabric for a tougher finish with a Quantum Insufil Insulation for a comfy, warm and soft feeling. These high quality technical fabrics make the Variant 3 Sleeping Bag a fast drying (about 20 mins drip dry in hot climates!), highly compactable sleeping bag for any traveller.
So how versatile is it?
1. Sleeping Bag: Boxed shaped with two separate zips
2. Rug/Blanket: Unzip all sides to open up fully to rectangle shape. Great for a evening blanket for a slight chill or lay down to sleep on top of in dodgy looking beds. Also ideal for those overnight train/bus journeys when you can't control the airconditioner.
3. Insulated Poncho: Unzip all sides and undo the velcro closure in the middle to pop your head through. Use when sitting around a fire or around campsite in the mornings/evenings.
