The North Face Talkeetna Triclimate Parka is an excellent choice for outdoor activities in the colder months. The Talkeetna has a larger-cut thats more in style with a parka. It's made from North Face's own HyVent material and has sealed seams so it will hold out unwanted moisture while still being breathable.
If the weather gets real nasty, you can cinch down the hood or when your don't need it the hood stows away in the collar. When you find yourself getting a little warm, the pit vent opens and work with the wind as you move to help cool your body.
To stop the drafts getting in, the Talkeetna's hem cinchcord and the velcro adjustable cuffs that fit under or over gloves combine to acheive just that.
The internal security pocket, left chest pocket, and the two hand pockets provide plenty of options for storage. The Talkeetna is a three in one parka with it's zip in acclimate as a lining. You can wear them together or separately depending on the conditions.
