Travel The Unknown is an exciting new travel company set up for travellers with a curiosity for venturing off the beaten track. The first of its tours will be in the remote states of North East India, home to some of the most diversity in the world.
Snowcapped Himalayan mountains and tropical jungle, Buddhist monasteries and ancient tribal villages, traditional bamboo homes and eco-camps, rare orchids and unicorn rhinos - North East India is sure to leave any traveller breathless.
The founders have long stood for responsible tourism with all tours being 100% carbon-neutral. A significant proportion of its income is invested back into local community initiatives. Group sizes are kept to a minimum to reduce the impact on the local environment and culture.
