The Charge AL has the same blade combination as the Wave except the handles are smooth 6061-T6 aluminum with a black Type III hard anodized coating rather than stainless steel. The other 2 Charge models vary slightly: The Charge ALX is the hunters version with a hook knife. The Charge TTi has titanium handles so is lighter.

The main difference between the Charge AL and the Wave is in the apperance and in the blade quality. The Charge uses a higher grade steel for the knife to ensure better cutting and less need for resharpening. You also get a bit driver set and a detachable lanyard ring with the Charge AL.
