Description
MSR Whisperlite 600 Stove is designed by Mountain Safety Research (MSR) and has got to be one of the most reliable and portable cookers around. And like the name suggests, it's sshhhhhh..... quiet and purrs along nicely. The stove runs on both white gas and/or kerosene, eliminating the difficulty of getting a special fit screw top gas in various spots around the world. Just head to the local service station and you're ready to cook.
We've tested it ourselves from Cuba to the Greek Islands and found the stove to be very reliable and easy to use and maintain. It's a highly efficient, hot burning stove for general backpacking and mountaineering use. It packs down small and is easy to service, thanks to the included the Shaker Jet system.
