Directions: Dissolve one sachet in 200ml of drinking water, for infants use water that has been freshly boiled and cooled. Adults should take one or two dissolved sachets after each loose stool. Children should drink one sachet after each loose stool and infants up to the age of 2 years should use one to one and a half times the usual 24 hours feed volume.
Active Ingredients: Each sachet contains: Sodium chloride 0.47g, potassium chloride 0.3g, glucose 3.56g, disodium hydrogen citrate 0.53g. Also contains silicon dioxide and saccharin sodium.
Side Effects: Side effects are rare with this product but anything unusual should be reported immediately to your pharmacist or doctor.
Warnings: Do not take Dioralyte if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or if your bowel is partially or fully blocked. Consult with your pharmacist or doctor if this medicine is for a child under the age of 2 years, your diarrhoea has persisted for more than 24-48 hours, are on a low potassium or sodium diet, have liver or kidney disease or have diabetes.
