Caroline Evans is a GP in Central London; her patients come from all corners of the globe and travel extensively. She spent 8 weeks in Sri Lanka as a medical student on elective which started n interest in travelling. Caroline then backpacked in SE Asia en route to Australia, where she
worked with Operation Raleigh in the rainforests of Northern Queensland.
Caroline has also been medic on other expeditions-Scuba diving in Belize with Coral Cay, climbing in Alaska with BSES, and accompanied a Charity Cycle ride to China.
She has the diploma in Travel Health from the University of London as well as membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners. She has written chapters on Travel Health for The Lonely Planet guides.
