Opened in 1997, our Russell Square branch houses a travel clothing and equipment store, vaccination clinic services including the dispensing of anti-malarials, prescription only medicines and specialised medical kits. Travelling by Tube? Just exit the Russell Square station, cross the road to Tesco and you’ll find us just 4 doors along to the left. Nomad shares the same building as STA Travel and is only 2 mins away from Russell Square Gardens on Bernard Street. The Generator Hostel is also just around the corner as is The Contiki Basement, their UK headquarters.

Russell Square - Ben spent the early part of January hiking in southern Portugal. with its rich mix of cliff top views, vast woodland areas and temperatures in the late teens this made for the perfect antidote to the harsh snow and frost that hit London. On this trip Ben utilised his Berghaus Mera Peak jacket which proved more than a match for the unpredictable costal weather conditions, and his Osprey Atmos 35 backpack was a comfortable choice due to its ventilated 'Airspeed' back system.
Hannah is planning on jet setting off to Egypt this month for an escape from the British weather. Having pale skin she will be sure to pack plenty of cyclax sun cream for protection from both uva and uvb rays. She will also be taking a Sarong along with her to use as beach towel and for covering up in when sightseeing the local mosques.
Meet the Manager:Adam is from New Zealand and he says that he has spent a lifetime living in the outdoors. He and his team at Russell Square are seeped with experience from travelling and life in the outdoors. Each of them have unique travel history but all are equally adept in their knowledge and training in footwear and backpack fittings.
They also offer some handy and simple travel health advice and have fully trained nurses onsite to answer any complicated travel health questions.
