Manchester Nomad's News:

We’ve all been busy bees around here. We now have two clinics up and running to keep up with all of you setting off to the Himalayas and all those other exciting places around the world. We’re also busy getting in touch with local schools going on their very first long haul trips and are teaming up with STA Travel to help prepare students leaving on Round the World tickets.  Its been great to give all you walkers boot fittings – if you are thinking of investing in a new pair yourself – come and try our fitting service.

Richard is very happy our special offer is on the Raider bag as it’s one of his favourite items –he’ll be having one of them once payday comes around! It will also be useful for when he takes the MMU hiking club up to Glen Coe Scotland for an adrenaline rush over gorges, teaching them ice climb, slacklining, and white-water rafting.

Dom  was very excited to serve a customer who’s cycling to Southern India from here in Manchester! It’ll be very interesting following his blog!  Dom is loving the new Lowe Alpine toploaders and is planning to take The
Makalu 65-85 the next time he’s trekking the Andes!

Nic intends to go camping with her partner very soon now the weather is improving.  - they have no idea where yet and are going to decide the night before to be spontaneous!  She is very excited by the new camping equipment which has started coming in now and will be taking Packing Cubes so our clothes aren’t floating in the boot of the car.

Nicola our new Lead Nurse  - is going to climb Hellvellyn.  She’s taking a Survival blanket because you just never know! Nicola and Gurdev are the latest members of our crew who are making quite an impression running our clinics and meeting up with GP Travel Nurses. Well done girls!

Myself, I’m going camping with my partner in the Lake District. We are taking our bikes for some very hilly cycling and, of course, the absolutely essential waterproof jacket and trousers.

Meet the Manager:
Justin and his team at Manchester Nomad are all keen travellers. In fact between the entire staff they have travel --> experiences to South America, Africa, the high mountains throughout Europe and North Africa, New Zealand, Australia, South-East Asia, Mongolia, China , Israel and the Middle East. Phew!
