The Nomad Travel Pharmacy was opened in 1990 and was then shortly followed by the first Clinic in 1991. The brainchild of Paul and Larry Goodyer, co-founders of Nomad, the idea to combine travel equipment & clothing with health came from Paul's many bouts of ill health whilst travelling.

Directly involved in malaria and insect repellent research plus other areas of travel health, our travel health advice is always at the forefront. To keep you the traveller in the best possible health whilst away we offer a full range of travel vaccinations, medicines and malaria tablets plus provide up to date outbreak information and travel advice. Our clinics are run by experienced travel health nurses and cater for every type of traveler from business to city break to expeditions. We provide information for leading travel magazine Wanderlust and regularly edit sections of the Royal Geographical Socity 'Expedition Medicine'. In addition we also provide occupational health services such as Hepatitis B/BCG/Bloods.

Services include high street clinics, business to business and on-site for group travel. In addition, the Nomad dedicated pharmacy produces both ready-made travel medical kits and bespoke kits.
