SHAP Kilimanjaro Challenge October 2010
This October a team of intrepid explorers will trek to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds for SHAP, a charity for the homeless based in the North West of England. SHAP provide housing and services for homeless, vulnerable or disadvantaged people and help them to take control of their own lives. It is an amazing organisation, and the people who work for SHAP are committed and passionate about what they do and the services they provide. It is their 30th year of operation, and to celebrate their Anniversary they have organised various fundraising projects, the most ambitious event will be a challenge to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in October 2010!
SHAP exists to promote social justice, to combat poverty and to prevent homelessness.
The team includes staff, service users and friends of the organisation, and we aim to raise funds for SHAP and to raise its profile and to benefit service users across the organisation.
