“Travelling abroad is an incredible experience but exposes us to many diseases and health risks. It is my role to advise clients on how to prevent and manage travel related hazards and illness so that they can have a safe and enjoyable time abroad.
Today’s travellers are very adventurous, visiting more exotic and remote destinations. I see many clients travelling to the most diverse parts of the globe from expeditionists crossing the Antarctic to couples honeymooning in Zanzibar. People travel for many reasons and in clinic I get to meet a wonderful variety of travellers including aid workers, backpackers, business travellers, film makers, journalists, medics, photographers, volunteers and even trapeze artists!”
