Lateral Flow Antigen tests are not suitable for anyone travelling to a destination that requires a negative COVID PCR test. This test is only suitable for those travelling to some destinations that require a negative COVID test. It is your responsibility to confirm the entry requirements for your destination. HOW MUCH DOES THE RAPID LATERAL FLOW ANTIGEN TEST COST?
The Rapid Lateral Flow Antigen Test costs from £15 – £18 for one test for one person. For £15, free second class Royal Mail delivery (3-5 days) is included or you can upgrade to next day delivery for £18.
HOW DOES THE RAPID LATERAL FLOW ANTIGEN TEST WORK?
Choose how you would like to have your lateral flow antigen test delivered – second class 3-5 day delivery is included for free, or you can upgrade for +£3 per test for next day priority postage.
Your LFD test kits include everything you need to complete your rapid lateral flow antigen testing and simple to follow instructions to guide you. You will register your test online before you use it, the you’ll take your sample and test it yourself using the lamina flow method. The test will take up to 20 minutes to complete. You will then send a photo of your test to be analysed by the laboratory. The lab will return your results and any applicable travel certificates within 2 hours.
HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY ANTIGEN TEST RESULTS?
Once analysis of your sample is complete, the laboratory will end your results digitally. They will produce a travel certificate (if applicable) and results documents for you. You will need reliable internet access in order to complete testing as you must register your test, share your test photo and receive your results online. Results documents and travel certificates will be returned within 2 hours.
WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE RESULTS OF THE RAPID ANTIGEN TEST?
Your results documents will include your results, which will be either Negative, Positive or Inconclusive.
Very infrequently, your swab result may be returned as inconclusive. This can be caused by poor sample taking technique. As a result, you may be required to complete another test.
What if I Have Questions About My Antigen Test Order or Results?
Our partner laboratory Medicspot provides a dedicated phone number that airport authorities can call to validate your results & personal information. Your results certificate, which is signed by a supervising clinician, is clearly presented and appropriate for travel.
CAN I USE THIS RAPID ANTIGEN TEST TO HELP ME WITH INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL AND RETURN TO WORK?
Yes – You may be able to use this test as a means of supporting entry to another country or for return to work purposes. There are currently inconsistencies with both return to work and international travel regulations. Different countries and employers have different regulations, and these regulations are changing rapidly. You must check with your employer, insurer and airline as to their individual & specific constraints around travel & COVID-19 testing. This certificate helps to support the validity of your test result. If your destination/employer requires a negative COVID-19 PCR test, this test is not suitable.
