We are pleased that we can now offer the Coronavirus COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test. You will visit a Nomad clinic, where nurse will take a two stage swab sample from the nose & throat. The sample will be tested for COVID-19 antigens in-clinic, giving a result in 15 minutes. As our clinicians take swab samples from two locations in the nose & throat, the Rapid COVID-19 Antigen Test has an accuracy rate similar to the PCR test – higher than most other antigen tests available. Our rapid antigen test includes a certificate for travel.

HOW DOES THE RAPID ANTIGEN TEST WORK?
Book an Appointment at your local Nomad clinic below or call us on 01341 555061. A Nomad clinician will take your swab sample in-clinic during an appointment. To ensure the highest rates of accuracy we can, the clinician will take your sample from two locations in the nose & throat. Your sample will be tested by your clinician, during your appointment, using the lamina flow method. This method returns a result in 15 minutes. HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY COVID-19 RAPID ANTIGEN TEST RESULTS?
Once analysis of your sample is complete, your clinician will interpret your results for you. They will produce a travel certificate for you that indicates your result to meet destination entry requirements.

You will be provided with information to help you understand your coronavirus in-clinic test results. If your results is negative, your clinician will produce a certificate for you to take away with you. If your test results is inconclusive, you will be retested by your clinician. If your result is positive, you will be required to immediately leave the clinic premises, return home to self-isolate and to contact NHS Covid tracking teams on 119.
CAN I USE THIS RAPID ANTIGEN TEST TO HELP ME WITH INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL AND RETURN TO WORK?
Yes – You may be able to use this test as a means of supporting entry to another country or for return to work purposes. There are currently inconsistencies with both return to work and international travel regulations. Different countries and employers have different regulations, and these regulations are changing rapidly. You must check with your employer, insurer and airline as to their individual & specific constraints around travel & COVID-19 testing. This certificate helps to support the validity of your test result. If your destination/employer requires a negative COVID-19 PCR test, this test is not suitable.
