Do You Need Antimalarials?

Find out if you are travelling to a high risk malaria area by visiting the Nomad Destinations Guide or NHS Fit for Travel. Check malaria maps to see where there is a high risk and find out which malaria tablets are most suitable for your destination.

Online Consultation

We cannot dispatch any orders for antimalarials, medical kits and medications without a completed Online Consultation for each person. The Online Consultation is built in to the checkout process, so just make sure you answer all the medical questions along with your billing & shipping details.

Prescription

A prescription (one per person) is required for the following antimalarials:
Malarone
Generic Malarone (Atovaquone & Proguanil)
Doxycycline
Paediatric Malarone
We cannot dispatch your order until you have added one prescription per person to your basket along with your antimalarials. You will be prompted to let us know how many prescriptions you require when buying antimalarials, and the prescriptions will be added to the basket along with your medicine.

If you have a prescription from your GP, our Pharmacist must receive the original copy before your order can be dispatched. Please post prescriptions to the following address:

Insect Repellents

Malaria tablets are not 100% effective in protecting against malaria. We strongly recommend that you use Insect Repellents and Mosquito Nets in conjuction with taking malaria tablets to give you the most complete protection possible.

If you’ve completed the Online Consultation, and have both your chosen antimalarials and one prescription per person (if required) in your basket, you may complete your order. Our Pharmacist will contact you if there are any issues with your order.
